Aleida  studied at Art School and Teachers College in Newcastle.

2000-2001 she was a member of the Inner City Clayworkers in Glebe, and had Craftmark accreditation with Craft Australia.

She is member of The Australian Ceramics Association.

In 2004- 2009 for 5 years she ran a studio gallery, Gallery Latitude  33, in Avoca Beach.

Working with porcelain, indigo and silver she continues to work in her studio experimenting and sending her work to various venues in Sydney, Southern Highlands, Victoria, and western NSW.
