my studio white Matt glaze over a different clay body with green glaze dots, a bit pale but still works I think ?
love the colours outside at the moment…lots of autumn warms to tide us over til bulbs come out !


Out of the kiln yesterday, porcelain landscape jar is new home for my white cyclamen. love to play with cobalt lines and washes to evoke patterns of landscape, this only small at approx 13x14cm

was given some old pieces of copper that have sparked a different approach in thinking about metal…. sterling silver has always been my favourite. it’s speaking to me about scraps of metal, the dump, industrial textures, old surfaces.

finally found some Cotoneaster on the roadside… love this time of year…I know is considered a pest, but it says Easter to me !!! Joins my wood fired pots by #slockwood #ianjones and #victorgreenaway on my dresser.
